USA Smart Home Solutions is a private program administrator — not a government agency — that assists qualifying households in accessing federally funded Home Energy Rebate programs created under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Our services include:
- Preliminary eligibility screening for the HOMES and HEAR programs
- Pre-registration and application assistance
- Document collection and submission to state program administrators
- Coordination of certified energy audits and contractor assignments
- Program status updates and ongoing support
Our services are provided at no cost to qualifying households. We are compensated through administrative fees from state program administrators, not from homeowners or applicants.
We are not affiliated with or acting on behalf of any federal or state government agency. Program participation, rebate amounts, and approval decisions are ultimately made by the relevant state energy office and the U.S. Department of Energy.
3. Eligibility to Use Our Services
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website or submit a pre-registration. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
You must be a resident of a state in which we currently operate. Current service areas are listed on our website. Eligibility for the underlying federal programs is determined separately and subject to program rules that may change.
4. Pre-Registration and Program Enrollment
Submitting a pre-registration or eligibility form does not guarantee program enrollment, rebate approval, or the receipt of any specific home upgrade. Final determination of program eligibility rests with the state energy office administering the program.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when using our services. You understand that providing false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the program and may constitute fraud under applicable federal and state law.
Projected rebate amounts shown on our website are based on federal program guidance and are subject to change when final program rules are established by the state.
5. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from USA Smart Home Solutions. Your opt-in data and mobile number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number on any of our forms and checking the opt-in box (or otherwise affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages), you expressly consent to receive autodialed and non-autodialed text messages from USA Smart Home Solutions at the mobile number you provide. These messages may include:
- Program launch notifications and application reminders
- Pre-registration and application status updates
- Scheduling confirmations for energy audits
- Important program deadlines and announcements
- Responses to questions you have submitted to us
Consent Not Required
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving our services or participating in any home energy rebate program. You may contact us by phone or email instead.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 4 messages per month under normal circumstances. Message frequency may increase around program launch events or during active application periods.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. USA Smart Home Solutions does not charge for text messages we send, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation that your opt-out request has been processed. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe by replying START.

No Sharing of Opt-In Data
Your mobile phone number and your consent to receive text messages from us will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their marketing, promotional, or solicitation purposes. Your consent to receive messages from us does not constitute consent to receive messages from any other company or organization.
Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is available through major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier support may vary. We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by your carrier.
6. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Accuracy of Information
We strive to keep information on our website accurate and up to date. However, program details — including rebate amounts, eligibility requirements, and launch timelines — are subject to change based on state and federal program decisions. Information labeled "projected" reflects estimates based on current federal guidance and may change when final program rules are published.
We do not warrant that the information on our website is complete, current, or error-free. You should verify important program details with the relevant state energy office before making financial decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, USA Smart Home Solutions and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to loss of rebates, delays in program processing, or denial of program applications.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us (if any), whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USA Smart Home Solutions and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of our services, or your provision of false or inaccurate information in connection with a program application.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Missouri.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
